WORLD CANCER DAY
Like every year this year too, ‘Bharat Sevashram Sangha – The Home for Cancer Patients’, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, will organize an awareness seminar to observe ‘World Cancer Day’ on 8th February 2015, Sunday, at 4.30 pm onwards for the inmates of the Home. The topic will be ‘The Holistic Natural Medication on Cancer Treatment and Diet’. The program will be conducted by ‘SUADHA’, a NGO from Kalyan.
Holistic medicine like Homeopathy is based on principles of nature and now very well recognized by Ministry of Health, India, and to a large extent by European medical associations help cancer patients cope with numerous ailments which they undergo. Especially:
- Coping with side-effects of Radio and chemotherapy
- Reducing psychological burden when affected with cancer like diseases
- In palliative care - helping wound managements and pain.
- It also majorly helps by improving the immunity of cancer patients [Iscador treatments]. It is now officially recognised by EU & Indian Government.
Holistic treatments also include diet and practice of yoga and music therapy, none of these above therapies interfere with the current allopathic or ongoing cancer treatments but helps to improve the quality of life of the cancer patients to large extent. SUADHA currently runs an integrated medicine approach at the Saifee Hospital, Mumbai for the same and many patients have largely been benefited.

Any Cancer Patient staying other than Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Navi Mumbai are invited attend the seminar. There is no entry fee.
